hello there

 

i have a Problem by using the cdlc´s i downloaded the d3dx9_42.dll  and downloaded the cherub rock dlc  and installed both in the right direction

 

i also can see the Songs in my list ingame, but after i tuned my guitar for the song nothing else happens, like frozen game but its not frozen cause  i can Play on my guitar and here the Sound ingame but thats all, Keyboard is useless so i have to quit the game on Task manager

 

can somebody help me?

Have you tried only one CDLC (it could be the CDLC that is broke)?

I'm having the exact same problem. Just did the cdlc setup today. I can see the songs in the list, but nothing happens after tuning. The screen just sits there with a picture of two amps and nothing else. Tried it with two different cdlc songs.

Thanks @@engleg. I looked at those resources before I got started. I finally got it working by disabling my firewall and antivirus protection, downloading the dll again, and then permanently excluding the dll from security scans. Norton Internet Security really doesn't like the modified dll, and was deleting it every time I downloaded it.

i have the excact same problem with no progression. ive replaced that same file over and over again with no luck, ive renamed all the app ids and have all the dlc needed and ive used different cdlcs, ive followed the directions in the video but nothing please help

Since you've posted here I guess you're on pc - if you've followed the steps and make sure you've the lastest version I'd check if it's not blocked by any antivirus software (whitelisting it for example) and try it with a few customs to make sure it works at all. If you buy the Cherub rock official dlc which is used as a standard by most you don't have to change the AppID on every custom you're dl
