Sweating like a pig trying to improve every song but starting to struggle now, small improvements only and then i see @@Vodka gets a 98+

Ah... problem .... would not call it a problem ... problem is already before when you can´t walk by ;) i just know that toooooo well... (sighs and regrets nothing).

 

Speaking of...

I was recruiting players or in other words a close friend and his gf bought RS with 2 cables they said because they wanted to start on guitar for a long time anyway and  anytime they came visit they caught me holding a guitar ... whatever ... i lend them a guitar and a bass and when i brought them over they said they wanted me to keep my eyes open for rather good used axes than rather cheap new ones ... cannot think of a task i would have taken over rather :) .. Unluckywise only took me few hours ... browsing the local marketplace page online brought this one into attention:

actually the one i got is the PRS SE Custom 24 (2009), but i don´t have a good picture and i couldnt find one of the 24s, otherwise exactly same.

both in very very good condition set up perfectly as those have been his on stage guitars for the last years as player in a local quite sucessfull commercial band (now he switched to a Musicman Luke II).

 

In the end i got them both for 500 together,

... got really nervous testing guitars for someone else, but that was the task ... i think there is no doubt about the PRS (for her?) and if the ibanez (which plays a lot like my Jackson) ends up in my collection i would not be too pissed.

 

Let´s see if they (friends) ever show up in the CS.

Both are very nice, especially that Ibanez.

My Real tone cable is broken, so i can't continue with the Championship until i fix it :(

I played MC and GoG before the Real Tone Cable broke, so i will post my scores in a bit

There is a way to play with the guitar plugged directly to the input of your soundcard. Its not the best solution but it might work until you can get another cable.  Just search google and you should be able to find it.

Intermediate song was quite tricky this week.  First runs where horrible. But i impressed myself after a few tries.

This is definitely my last post of the week, going to see a band tomorrow night and the Spurs v Liverpool match is an early kick off so no chance of getting home sober from that one.

 

I managed a few runs tonight and as promised I headed straight for Jet........... sorry @ Vodka  :ph34r:

 

 

 

Then after all those power chords i decided to have another go at the 'Boots are made for walking' as i need the open chord practice, then surprised myself with a nice score......

I think I'm developing some serious tryharding skills. I'm quite good at forgetting it's a game  :mellow: but well that's 1 note missed (stupid one btw)
@ I don't get misses on those slides but instead I can't get anything else than "Too late", so maybe try playing them way earlier ? messy recognition system
I'll try putting songs in that list ! but forget what I said about the difficulty of this song, I didn't know it (shame on me), and turns out it is really fun to play !

I'm surprised at how fast I managed to pull out those squealies  :o quite proud of this ! now that's a really cool tone we have here

and I don't seem to like the intermediate songs I have to play on lead, so I guess I have to work hard as f*** to get more than 99% and move to advanced  :P well I think I won't make it but let's try it anyways
