This week songs are all that were already played. Sorry we didn't had time to go with proper selection, but I think that I choosed awesomely (except MC, but I did not wanted to go only with songs that I like, some "poor" music had be selected as well :lol: )

Cholly was easy even when it was in Advanced, there's no way it's an 8. I think we need a new MC pick.

I really like Cholly but ill have to agree with @@Gamut. I dont really mind though. Anyways, im still waiting for my high E string to be delivered and they told me next friday or saturday :| So i doubt i can score very well this week but ill give it my best when i finally receive my string

it changed from relaxed to stressful, but it is MC now. I guess you meant Just Allow with the harder solo, but that's only a short part. Servitude's solo is more easy, but the whole song is hard.

Yes, it's one of the funnier beginner songs we've had here.

I went shopping yesterday and bought a nice little black number, for my holiday in Italy:

@@missis sumner switswoo! :) that's a fine selection of bass' make that sand rock at the beach :D ... I desperately want another but I canne justify it due to The Man taking my money! :D

It was only a cheapie.  I'm impressed with the quality of the tuners and bridge etc, and only just noticed it has an angled headstock - no need to pin those strings down.  It's branded Eastcoast but is made by Stagg, apparently.  It plays nicely enough.  The strings are not as floppy as I expected for a 3/4.  But the sound is, how can I say, different.  Not necessarily bad, just a bit more guitarry - the E string is not the loudest.

 

I actually wanted an Ibanez Mikro, but they didn't have any in stock.

I checked my scores from last time around, and I was a bit disappointed that I hadn't improved.  But then I probably did play the Megadeth song a fair few times last time around, so I am now relatively pleased with getting close:

I really dislike "Servitude" by Fishbone (just my personal opinion). Tedious to play for me and i hear it a lot similar to "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains in the chord progression. Above, phrases are too short to play it in score atack. Anyway, i'll try to make my best effort. Here is "Countdown to extinction" by Megadeth:

Reviewing these tunes yielded +1% apiece. Didn't work too hard on either of them the first time we played them, so I'm sure there's more improvement where that came from!
