Help With CDLC

Hi there i had to restore my PC and then get all my games from Steam. All seems well until i try to play CDLC . I can see it and tune my guitar but after that i am stuck in the screen with the Amp's but nothing happens. I'm so sorry to ask you've had it a thousand times but please help. Many thanks in advance.
