My daily improvement.. Graveyard on bass = 97.7%

Nice bass lines on Graveyard. I would have never played this if it wasn't for this competition.

This will be the first Championship I enter, so please have patient with me! I'm trying Heavy Rotation... I know for sure Jpop it's not easy...

@@Zacek - welcome, cool you are here!

 

@@RoR - welcome, great you join in. Noone is gonna in no way laugh at low scores - promised!

You might even like to post your initial scores at first try so you and anyone sees your progress through the week which is a very motivating part of this comunity. A lot of us frequent players incl. myself use to post the very first scores however bad those might be and post updates throughout the week. That adds a lot to the competition and leads to one-on-one battles for the higher score even far behind the top.

(I prefer that a lot over single entrances late on saturday with no chance to react)

 

You will find out for yourself ;)

 

 

P.S. the only scores we use to eat alive are our own.

Just tried No good, Mister holden in scoreattack and it has a slow highway there to.   So i tried downloading the DD version and apparently it just have a short part in it and the rest is without notes.    Looks like this:

4. It has some unusual chords and that solo pops, that might be a tiny little bit too much for beginners.

5. Much more difficult then lead. And it has all those little riffs, that rhythm players usually never play.

You're right. But it only happens on lead. Rhythm works well in SA.

@@RoR I've felt the same way last two weeks. What's worse yet is I feel like I'm not making any improvement. I'm sure I probably am, but I don't see it or feel it. It takes a long time to become proficient at guitar let alone good.

I've got No Good, Mr. Holden on bass up to 99%.  I doubt that I can get much better - there will always be random flubs. I'm inconsistent that way.

 

Maybe It's time to sit through the piano wanking.

Last and esp. this weeks beginner lead song are hard for beginner!!!

In fact 3/4 so beg-int but as there are not so many really easy lead songs those tend to land in beginner.

Just be patient, it can´t get any harder, only easier!

Don't like this one quiiiiite as much as Thin Line, but it's pretty good! The melodies are a blast, and the riffs are punchy.

Almost entirely soloing. My favourite of the Billy Cobham we've played - a lot more energy in this track than Red Baron or Stratus.
