Well since its not so fast and i am kinda used to it in that riff because i have played the song first a long time ago i use shifting all the way. Sometimes i caught myself playing the 7-5s also with only 2 fingers (index and middle) like the other progression.

 

How do you play it?

 

 

(Maybe i will use the soccer games today for some technical practice on that)

Now i  play with pinky. First time i started with shifting, but it not so good for sounds, so i relearned it, such way, is only  the one  shift. 2th to 4th, more easy, and more good sounds. And of course it helpful practice for riffs of Megadeth :)

I like shifting!

Generally i agree its almost always better to allow the frethand the maximum resttime, in that case though... the shifting feels good and sounds well ok, esp. for a 93%acc.

 

I am gonna try if frippstyle is really better here later today.

well it´s been a while - so rules of the mighty 10 weeks lb:

 

you score 10/5/3/1 pts for places 1-4 in YOUR CLASS AND ABOVE!!!!! (a beginner of course can get the MC points if s/he finishes in the places, the other way around - no of course)

So you can start collecting points before you level up and you might get motivated to try a song from classes higher than yours.

 

You get an extra point for a 100 in your scoring classes and an extra point for a MasterMode Run in your scoring classes (that is not more than 2% less than yor best score). that is all.

So - been testing hard the best possible finger positioning for me at big gun and my fingertips hate me now.

 

For me its clearly shifting, highly possible that muscle memory tells me that.

My rate there 6+. main diff there is length.

I never realised how hard it would be to get a 0.14% improvement on Maria until tonight, I have played and played and played until the misses saved me and sent me to have my second shower of the night as I was "sweating like a big fat pig! " then sent me to bed for my own sanity.

 

I have realised that either the Rocksmith CDLC Maria by Blondie only goes up to 99.86 %

Or

My strings are passed their best and require changing.

Or

The humid weather has affected the set up of my guitar(s)

Or

I am just making excuses and should try again when I calm down a bit.
