Game was playing fine until yesterday it did a update which i watched and it kept restarting the update for over 45 mins finally it completed the cycle and unpacked and installed update.

Now no matter what song i play cdlc or dlc sometimes i cant finish a song before RS crashes sometimes right after i finish a song. 

Then Rocksmith has stopped working and backs out to home screen of windows and i have to restart RS any suggestions?

Open steam

rightclick "rocksmith 2014"

click "properties"

click "local files"

click "Verify integrity of game cache"

I tried that at first some files failed to validate, Now all files come back validated. same issue.

Uninstall

Delete rocksmith 2014 folder

Reinstall

I tried that, Now I will mark this solved as it seems to be working hopefully it will continue.
