I can play the songs which came with rocksmith2014 (PC) but customs no longer work.

 

Has there been an update regarding the compatibility hack?

Nop just make sure you still have the dll in the correct place with the correct name

I downloaded rs1compatibilitydlc_p again replacing the one which isnt working, put it in the dlc folder but it didnt work

delete the file and use the steam file verification so that steam redownload it himself

... well since you talked about the RS1 compatibility file which isn't part of the hack at all (just the pack of all RS1 DLC) i think you look for the wrong file.
