Simple, straight forward, not unpleasant to listen to, I'd probably have really liked this band if I was 14 :)

I had a go at Megadeth as well, and got around 96% - lots of random misses - the song was a little boring, really "nicht mein bier" as you may say. ;)

I had Addicted to Chaos lead as 7 for long time, but when I played it after putting it to SSL, I decided that solo is not Advanced suited. I do understand that it's easy MC, there is no challange except the solo, but solo is tough as death.

 

Song Selection List is a place where each participant can put up to 4 songs of their choice, that can be selected for weekly Championship (as long as RNG is in your favor ;) ). Songs need to have working Riff Repeater with at least few sections, bass and at least one guitar (lead or rhythm).

Songs are sorted by difficulty and for each lead class (if there is no lead, lead column is filled with rhythm rating) is selected one, so it is highly apreciated when you at least try to fill that lead column (I do understand that some of you are bass exclusive or feel unable and you don't know what number to put there, but it may take us, Organizers, some time to fill it for you, so at least a little hint might help us a lot, after all you played it, so you know how it sounds, though it may be misleading :lol: ).

We would love to see some ass kicking bass lines or 8-9 rated guitars.

I destroyed the solo here and I got robbed by recognition. My strikes here are both in the chorus because unless I play certain notes SUPER far in advance, it doesn't fucking score them. Oddly in Learn A Song this isn't an issue but every goddamn time I play SA it is.  Can't even pass chorus phrases unless I intentionally make the chorus riff sound terrible. Maybe I need to fix my action.

I know this isn't a valid score, but honestly I won't be able to post a score in intermediate.  This is too difficult for me.

 

I'll spend my time practising songs I can play rather than getting depressed trying to play songs that are way too advanced for me.

 

 

 

Yo, Didd - that seems to be an philosophical issue.

While the ones here prefer to stay in the lower class and make it sound perfect the others get the most advance in their journey being faced with songs slightly above their abilities. I consider myself in-between as i try to play my int class and whenever i have time the adv, too.

 

However this and last weeks int songs are not on the easier int side....

If you wish to return to beg lead just start playing beginner class again, and as your score last week and now are <=79% you are gonna be downleveled next week.

I do not remember anyone being downleveled in the last year (!) and it would make CCL list servicing easier.

@@Gamut On cdlc Megadeth i sure is very good sync, ans at least on chorus right notes :)

There may be issue on solo, the small fast part HoPos (15th-14th-12th frets) contained some extra notes (as i hear) (3min 23sec), may be tabs for other version audio. But i cannot fix it easy, bcs of have not old eof files. I tried import, but lost a lot techniques and sustains, so it is a lot work for fix, almost from start. I`m lazy for it, sorry.

Yeah, the only point for an score would be that it would take a week which could be good in certain situations and thus make it independent from votes for or against.

I have also no problem with simple “level me down post“ option.

Well,

here's my first "complete" result to chaos.

Without red Xs. Still have some troubles with fast 4-5 strings part on 2-3 frets. I can play it not in the song, but can't put it together yet.

But I think that's a progress for myself.

First time competitor! God knows why I haven't done this sooner, great fun and I've been looking for more challenging stuff to play. Never really heard this sort of music before so that was also fun.

We will fall together is killing me. I've had to stop. My mind brain canne cope. I wouldn't mind, I'm not bad at string skipping but the song is just a tad out of my speed league. Gonna skip this week and play some other stuffs. See you in the next week, going to see if I can find some MC worthy tunes for the SSL that I can actually play and fill the SSL board up :D
