DR Neon Bass strings cleaning and experience.

So I got myself some DR neon bass strings and they are getting pretty dirty from the amount of me playing, anyone else used them before know the best way to clean them without losing color? Also what was your overall experience with them like?

    I use them on my strat and i like them, they are great strings for beginners,i also put numbers 1 3 5 7 9 12 15 17 19  21 on my neck to help me locate the frets.
