Is there a list anywhere of easy bass songs. Not like just one bass note or anything like that. Like this song in the game La Sera - Love That's Gone.

Some where in the middle not to easy not to hard.

No Good, Mr.Holden by Graveyard's pretty easy, a bit of shifting on the neck but a good one to feel like you're rocking out to.

 

Islands by The XX is pretty simple and catchy, some extended simple phrases but some nice little riffs and Lazy Song by Bruno Mars. I'd suggest more but I'm pushed for time. Those 3 are all pretty different tracks but nice to play. :)

7 nation army is an easy one but it is an official DLC so you'll have to purchase it.

pour some sugar on me, sugar by maroon 5, its not unusual by tom jones, they are all easy to master and fun to play

Why don't you just turn down the difficulty?

Check the championship list.  a few hundred song rated by difficulty.

I tried that, but they seem to take out the easy notes along with the hard notes, the simple parts get too simple.

I would recommend Planetery GO by MCR to get used to the strings.

 

If you want a challenge then go for any Arctic Monkeys songs.

Stir it up by Bob Marley is a good easy one

Steepen your learning curve :P

Oddly enough, classic rock like AC/DC, Def Leppard, Black Sabbath and a lot of 80's hair metal, like Whitesnake, are very easy on bass. Just watch out for the occasional flyer from groups like Bon Jovi. And Rush is always on the most difficult list, no matter what instrument you play. 

 

After a while you'll be able to pick out the bass line when you're listening to music and you'll be able to hear what makes a song hard to play on bass. Besides, if you practice by yourself, it doesn't matter how bad an attempt is. And with CDLC, well, just delete your mistakes.  :P
