April 4, 20169 yr Hello, this is my first time experiencing something like this in EoF where whenever I import the track it adds something that isn't in the track and most notes are missing from the track. http://puu.sh/o5Eav/223672c135.JPG http://puu.sh/o5EaH/3f5de51a53.JPG http://puu.sh/o5Eb4/bc26036618.JPG http://puu.sh/o5Eb0/328c19d1c1.JPG
April 4, 20169 yr Administrator That is definitely weird as i've never experienced that kind of issue. @@raynebc is the man to find out the issue. Firekorn's workshop In Flames Discography #FirekornHasDoneNothingForTheCommunity
April 5, 20169 yr Author I've never seen that happen and would need the Guitar Pro file to test with.Yeah, that's why I was pretty lost at what's happening as well and here you go https://www.dropbox.com/s/qe97gd9cbb6adyz/oyasumi.gp5?dl=0
April 5, 20169 yr My guess would be that it's related to the measures (like measure 9 in the image) that have more notes (total duration, 9 eighth notes) than makes sense for the time signature. Don't know why that would manifest at measure 59, but that's the first thing I'd look into. Fixing those either via grace notes or by changing the whole note to some tie with a total value of 7 eighth notes. April 6, 20169 yr I found what was causing this: Guitar Pro was defining the note rhythm using tuplets of 0 divisions. This makes absolutely no sense, and is probably a bug with Guitar Pro, but I added handling to ignore this if it is found. It now imports without the unexpected chord at the beginning and the tablature seems to import normally. Do you know how this GP5 file was created? Was it made by Guitar Pro 6? A third party program like TuxGuitar?

April 6, 20169 yr Give it a try with the new hotfix I posted this evening. I couldn't reproduce the problem anymore.
