God of Guitar is a new idea for lead participants. Whenever extremely difficult song (rating 10 or above) will be selected it will be named a God of Guitar challange and other song will be selected for MasterClass lead. Winner of GoG song will be awarded with shiny trophy that he/she will hold until losing in another God of Guitar challange.

@ I think I'll stick with the Int for now.

 

I knew I was going to struggle this week as I won't have much time to practice but if I did I am sure I'd get in the 90+% by Friday.

So I'll just do as best as I can and see what happens this week, but I'll be back stronger next week.

But I've changed the rules to better suit me and most of the Organizers, so, let me quote:

1. Your scores will count only in one difficulty for each class, but you are free to post every score of Championship song.

2. Yes, you can in all.

This week I'm brokening my fingers, hands and ... donno something else, against Sabaton.

I'm repeting the song under RR now. Some troubles with the B5 chords but I'm gonna fight them.

Since my class is lonely and i need more 3 string chord practice, i spent the evening playing the int song.  Took more tries than i wanted to get those chords to feel right.

I played Dexys too, to warm up, it fun a song, and good for practice chords (coordination of the fingers).

Got some score and in during the next attempt, high E string  snapped :)  Bad that there all songs tuned in E. Time for new strings.

Counts in own class - for awards, other counts will added in leaderboard (with special marks), but only for fun some personal competition  and personal vendetta  :lol:

Long live the king.......not too bad on bass

 

its the Rhythm i was struggling with, notes weren't registering, fingers were all over the place, and for some reason i just couldn't get it...... then once i got over the 3 XXXs every bloody time it sort of stared to make sense......

 

 

this will get better as i have never heard this song before this week.

 

 

the biggest disappointment was Come on Eileen.

 

I fondly remember the drunken nights dancing to this (well jumping around) trouser less in many a drinking establishment and how dearly id love to be able to play it.

 

well i still wish i could bloody play it, the only difference between then and now is I'm not drunk and i have my trousers on, still can't play it.

this is the only screen shot without 3 big fat XXX's

 

please don't let the relatively high score fool you, it sounded like a small child payed it high on pepsi cola......with a plugs in its ears

One note, I don't know where or how. It has it moments, still I am very dissapointed with how easy this is. Song is good, but bass lacks skill.

I love this kind of bass line. I can't imagine finishing this week without 100% :)
