March 26, 20169 yr I got hit with a copyright strike on my last channel, how can i avoid it this time?
March 26, 20169 yr Author I am talking about youtube, But my old channel got copyright struck and i dont know why. Is there anything special you do other than upload it?
March 26, 20169 yr Author No...I just upload it and that's it. My stuff isn't exactly popular so that could have something to do with it. oh yeah, my stuff was 1000+ views because it was ones i made that havent been made yet..
March 27, 20169 yr It mainly depends on the copyright holder. When I tried to upload the vid I posted a while back of my terrible attempt to play Suicide Solution, Youtube wouldn't allow the audio because of the copyright claim that the production company already has on file with Youtube. You can also file a dispute on the claim to get rid of the strike, usually if you can make them believe that the video is for educational purposes they'll let you keep it up. March 27, 20169 yr Its mostly about the song and the copyright holder. I never had a problem on my channel with strikes but within 24 hours of me posting a bass/vocal cover of Pink Floyd's comfortably numb, I got a strike. Sometimes I use big words that I don't completely understand, just to make myself seem more photosynthesis.

I tried this, Saying that i only use it to help teach people songs and im not making money off it but they just pushed me off haha.
