A GoG song would probably take longer to learn.  Why not have GoG songs span 2 or 3 weeks?

@@2groggy We early tried put a song for 2 weeks. And at second week almost no one not continue to play this, all loose interest. And yet it more complicated for organisers.

I have been thinking about the GoG thing: (whenever a 10 on lead gets the draw)

 

:) I like to keep the 10-week leaderboard as simple and clear as possible so i can do it weekly within an hour or so and a sometimes extra song for one class makes it hard esp. when the scores cannot be simply added to one result... but enuff blabla

 

Here is what i thought - lets make it a challenge cup - meaning the winner of the GoG 10-song gets awarded a really shiny evil trophy (luckywise we have a badass designer among us) which he carries and has to defend at the next GoG challenge. No points no second places - no nothin except the run for honor and the award screamin "best fxxxin lead guitarist around". About that: i think GoG applies only for lead - we rarely / never had too hard bass/rhythm parts that did not fit into MC.

Normal CS would not be affected which i think is the fairest way.

 

What do @youall think ?

@@Rodman very good, so noone have to learn a song 'halfway' in fact it's just too much for one week, only if well known or very much liked or even for a hardcore battle.

@, played the Apache cdlc last night, and still some improvements can be done.

I think the lead tone has too much gain.... I tried with the same tone but decreased the amp gain Loundness 1+2 both to 30, sounds better. The bass has many overlapping sustains. If you cut them a bit it would look better (and clearer). Then I have 2 screenshots for bass:

At this part there should be no sustains on A strings (there are stops)

Sorry for this somewhat off topic question.  How do I post my screen capture from steam to this forum?  I end up with a link, you folks have the screen capture picture itself, I am not doing things right and would like to fix that.

 

If it is easy, just put it here or in a PM, if it is on the forum, a link would work too.

If you're using Windows, try ShareX application. This tool can capture screenshots and has a feature to upload it to several picture hostings directly from the app. I'm using it and I like it.

I'm having proper bad trouble with Catamenia.  It seems to play okay, as long as I don't try to increase the difficulty or try to go into Riff Repeater.  Either of those two actions causes it to crash on my Mac. :(

New version is great. Now bass is I don't know where all those points coming from. Sustains are good and Motive added any notes which makes sense. Also the part with the stops strings changes one note earlier... I noticed it also before but thought it's a minor issue (and very small) but he got it. Thanks

Guitar lead has a decent tone now, thanks again.

Now its a very nice custom for practicing in all paths with fun
