Hahaha.... @m s now is the time we really should start insulting each other! I think we don't - cause we can agree that the other one has no basic understanding of anything at all and any word woud be pearls before the sows anyways... then a couple of happily ever after beers .... :D

 

 

Back to the bassline - it's not a fiver :) - you have lots of stringskipping, positionchanges, its not slow i'd put it on the upper half of the scale 5.8 - you know you don't have to levelup (if we let you stay ;) ) even with your perfect play. I think you are quite an 8er on your bass by now so it seems easy.

Okay, I was slightly drunk when I played it.  Sometimes I find this helps - I'm usually less nervous after a couple of :beer:. :D

 

However, I'm struggling with Tightrope, so much so that I can't register a valid score.  I know we all have our strengths and weaknesses (and I think my weakness is playing things up the neck), but Tightrope's a 6?  Seriously?  I will try it again tonight - but as I say, I can't even get a score on the board. :(

could improve on the 3rd exercise in rhythm which is harder than lead

may be bad score bcs of played via pedal, and the sound was without delay, seems me, RS sure that i play notes  late for him.

heres todays little improvements, Apache Rhythm ..... too many bloody chords (i agree with @Vodka), very hard to get the transition from one to the other as quickly as RS wants it.....played this song too many times to give up tho......

I think part of the reason I hate it, apart from the fact that I can't play it, is that it's in D Standard.  That means I don't have too many alternative songs to play, when I've given up on it.  I have however managed some Volbeat tonight.  ;)

I'm sorry to come back to it, I'm not arguing about it (or maybe I am? :D) but I've played this again tonight.  My first go - without warming up or playing anything else at all (British Summer Time - cold hands) and I got 99.something.  It's not slow, but it's not fast either, especially as it has a lot of sustained notes, that you can catch late and still register.  Yes, I know that's not good and sounds crap, and I'm not saying that I did that the other night (well, I actually don't remember…), but I sure did tonight (cold hands).  Also the only shift is an easy shift - from memory without looking at it, isn't it on an open note and from third fret third finger to third fret first finger or something like that?  If so, it's not a big jump and doesn't have to be done quickly.  Just saying… :beer: (I haven't had so many tonight). :D

 

5 or a 6 - it's relatively easy, compared to some of the adv. bass songs we've had.  And obviously, I find it a damn sight easier than Tightrope. :)
