Rocksmith 2014 is only 8 bucks on steam and I'm mad that I paid 20 for it  :angry:

I thought i'd have a go at yum yum on the Bass just for a bit of a laugh, after seeing the 100%'s how hard could it be.........

 

 

My fingers are now in a bucket of ice and my forearm has pumped up like a ballon.......this will be my last try me thinks.

 

I have no idea how you guys do it, let alone do it again.....

I know this doesn't count, but here's a score on a version where I increased the initial offset by 20 ms. No other changes (except maybe scroll speed). Not 100% sure if it's a "problem" with the sync, but when I looked at it in EOF the notes did look like they tended to come a little bit earlier than the beats (earlier than I sync personally, but also earlier relative to what I've seen when I look at official songs).

 

This kind of highlights why I don't really care about score battles. It often becomes more about how well Rocksmith is set up on your computer than your musicianship (try to find me on the leaderboard for Black Magic!).

 

Anyway, @, bring it on when we have a song that's actually MC difficulty.

Much better! I was very tempted to give up in disgust at the start of the week - my first sight read was <60%. As with other weeks, anything that involved arpeggios of bar chords had me screwed. My technique here has certainly improved this week, along with string skipping accuracy.

Same here. Very good week for my technical skills!

I have scored 94.17% on psycho 3 times now I just can't get any further. Will have another crack hopefully before the times up.

I don't like this one - it's a nice song, but it must be extremely boring to be guitarist. The guitarists probably cursed the day this song became a hit...  :)

 

 

 

Rhythm INT - 86.86%

 

 

 

Bass MC - 98.99%

 

This one was really fun. I didn't have the time, energy and hand strength to chase for 100%. I will save this one for the future - it is a really good exercise for the left hand!
