"Hände hoch" can be quite useful sometimes...

Played through Feel Good Inc. last night. My scores on bass:

Also, I noticed a few things, so if other people have played and would like to discuss, let me know. Otherwise I'll post to the record page this afternoon.

 

1) The sync seemed a little bit off to me. Not hugely off, but enough to make some parts feel a bit weird. When I opened it in EoF, it looked like this first picture. Only the offset needed to be changed, afterwards it looked like this second picture, and stayed well synced for the whole song (likely click tracked or quantized).

 

2) All of the slides down to the first fret should be unpitched. I think there's also one 5\3 slide on bass after the lead section that should be unpitched.

 

3) I'm almost certain this bass part (and its repeat) are in the wrong octave. Not exactly sure how the transition is managed, or if it's just that all of measure 43 is up an octave. @, can you check this?

 

Does anyone disagree with any of these, or notice anything else that might warrant changing?

Me too! Downloading cdlc as we speak so some scores incoming in the medium of viele unerwünschte bildschirmfoto... My GCSE German is so out of date I had to look up screenshot because they didn't exist when I was at school :(

Batteries just died and it won't be for another 15 hours until I can practice, it sounds too quiet on my other bass :( I like this song, I like it A LOT :) it's about a 5 I reckon.

i had a play through the songs today but i doubt if ill get a chance to better them as i will be travelling to Ireland on Tuesday and I quote, "if you play that bloody guitar while i am packing the suitcases you are going to need a good Surgeon to remove it from....... " i won't go on as it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.............but these are the scores so far.

I can't leave it like this so i am going to try to get another go after work tomorrow........

You're right, it starts one octave up:
