Sorry if this has been asked...I've been search and scanning the forums but unable to find my exact issue. All "official" DLC works; however, any CDLC I get will not. When I go to play it, it shows up in my song list and I can hit "enter" and hear the song play. However, there is no notes or anything to play. I have used the "program" to push it to the official song I own...but no luck. I am running fine with the d3dx9 dll.

EDIT - Just to note, after reading through a bunch...the song actually plays, it's just no notes show up to play along with the song (so no the two speakers issue most have without downloading the d3d file in root folder).
