Looks like Steam has huge vulnerability, allowing stealing of your steam collection and running anything on your pc.

Rocksmith should be safe then as it doesn't use source engine at all.

Rocksmith doesn't make any use of the source engine. So playing Rocksmith won't make your steam account vulnerable.
