The last 2 DLC I worked on had grace notes in the GP5 file.

 

On both of them it imported the grace note, but ignored the regular note.    So in one instance the GP5 had fret 3 (grace) slide to 5 (sustain for a half note).

The import had fret 3 sustain for half note.   Which would sound wrong.

 

Is it possible to have it just import both notes?  or at least just drop the grace note and use the main note?

If you supply a Guitar Pro file with information about the notes that didn't import correctly (ie. what measure number and what instrument track they are in), I can look into it.

Here you go.   I chopped all the bars out except the ones with grace notes.    Use the Guitar I track.

Those all appear to be "on the beat" grace notes. EOF doesn't special logic for these like it does for "before the beat" grace notes. Can anybody confirm what the behavior should be (ie. an on the beat grace note delays the affected note by the grace note's duration)?

yeah the next note should be delayed by the grace note duration.
