It's not too difficult this.  Fast, but not complex. :)

After lots of work in RR, I've managed to raise the intermediate lead score a bit.  If not respectable, it's getting less embarrassing at least.

 

I cant' get through even easy on SA, so I'm having to do LAS.  I've had the same 77% the last 4 times I've played it, which either means I'm topped out, or I'm consolidating ready for the next push.

Though, yeah, my chances of doing jack in MC guitar has disappeared pretty quickly with the return of you, fripp, and the addition of new people. Should make for some great competition as long as I don't peace out too often, though.

aha, good! But still... I love my piece of shit Yamaha Pacifica. It was my first guitar and we two have grown up together. While I was still a complete ignorant noob, (and very young) I tuned it two octaves too high and to compensate for the raising tremolo bridge, I took a hammer and nailed it stuck. I have also painted it twice and removed the neck pickups. Those where the days... I still play it regularly even tho I own a Gibson SG and a Fender Strat. The point is: I would never ever purposely smash it to pieces.

That epiphone really never connected with me though, my Dean has seen a lot of glory, and a lot of tragedy.

I would legit be depressed if anything happened to it, its a weird feeling....

about 8 years. I started at the age of 10

I did my first year of learning on my brother's crappy old no-name brand that he let me borrow when I got Rocksmith 1 for Christmas.

 

The Boxing Day after that, I picked up a Hagstrom Ultra Swede, and it's my baby. I do desire more guitars, but this Hagstrom's pretty versatile, so I feel okay about being guitar monogamous for the time being.

@@missis sumner I can only set the scroll speed for the whole song at every arrangement. But the song speed stays constant, there are just less notes in those parts.

 

I forgot to say, most weird - I played it again last night, obviously, and the scroll speed started off relatively fast and stayed fast i.e. it was fine.  There was no slow start and ramping up of the speed at all?  Why would it have that funny glitch for a first play?

Sad news today: my les Paul was propped up on the wall, something made it fall over. And the headstock snapped right off...

Pretty common thing with them Epi/Gibson LP headstocks unfortunately, even $2k+ ones.

Awesome playing @@Brutus Erectus! It's one thing to be able to play music from Rocksmith or from tabs, but to be able to improvise like that takes it to a whole new level.

 

I've had this in the collection since the last Clutch song a few weeks back but haven't yet put the time in to learn it properly. Hitting those bends consistently is the challenge this week.

Not sure if it's repairable/worth the repair, it's a cheap guitar, I'll be getting a quote and seeing but...

I might just use that as an excuse to get a new one

 

I use that one a lot too.  If the "It Fell over and broke" doesn't work, I can fall back on the "Our four dogs chewed it up".

As I really start to think about MC lead, I really think it should be Eb std. A lot of fret logic would make more sense.
