yes, you're right. I changed it in the OP, also I tried to change it in the LB sheet, but it always switches back :blink:  the board want's you to win  :lol:

I saw the J. Geils band on a bill before Heart and The Who back at about the time that this song came out. It was a great show.  BTW, the opening solo act was Nash the Slash.  Has anyone heard of him outside of Canada?  Just curious.

First run at full speed (after half an hour in RR) on Clutch = 98%

 

I doubt that I will get that quick solo perfect, butt I'll get the song over 99% for sure.

The song that appealed to me right away this week was the MC. I haven't seen this anime or heard this song, but after just one listen I'm like "damn, that's killer and I want to play it".

First run wasn't so killer. That chorus melody! What! How!

 

So I stopped to figure out how (or at least, to kind of play something reminiscent of it) and then I managed to do a lot better.

So, I obviously played the MC bass song before this week, so I'll use my playthrough video for my first score.

 

Streak 524:

Accuracy 99%

 

It's not score attack, so it's beatable if anyone gets above 99% (I think I had better score attacks, but at my parents' house, so even if I took a screenshot, I don't have access to it). And in case anyone's curious, I moved the tapping section over a string because I found it hard on my fretting hand that being that close to the nut. Otherwise I think I played everything like it is in the tab (so I didn't cheat by using my highest string to avoid shifts or anything like that).

 

 

On guitar, my sightread was pretty bad. Didn't screenshot it, but 75% accuracy. After some practice on that (really tricky) melody, and reacquainting myself with the tapping bit, I managed this:

Still a lot of room for improvement in playing the melody (in RR I only took it to mid-80% speed, and started struggling there, and I have serious problems keeping up at 100% speed. Usually a bad sign for trying to master it during a week, but not always.) and a few other places, but doing OK so far.

 

@@Gamut - I'd say it's pretty good, but not must see. The second season's better than the first, but the first three or four episodes should give you an idea of whether you'll like it or not.

Fixed, winner in ADV lead is @Gamut. @Brutus Erectus have the 3th place in MC lead

That MC song, I don't think I'm nearly anime enough to tackle it

There is no MasterClass Rhythm song this week. Walk This Way will work very well for you, so I decided not to add other one (it's hard to find good MC rhythm tune...).

First time posting here so still a bit unfamiliar with the rules.

It's songs like this that make me wonder why I'm in Masterclass. What a nightmare for the head to process.
