First time Depeche Mode. Yay!

First jazz song and at the same time the oldest song we ever played - Seven Come Eleven. Too short though...

And beast song - Even Flow. It was much easier in Guitar Hero III...

I hated Royal Republic prev. time. I hate it this time too.

UPD: OK. I hate every song. I guess I need to stop.

First scores:

(I thought I'd got 100% on this, but must have buggered it up somewhere along the way)

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKWER2SUV6UVM3blU/view?usp=sharing

I was pleasantly surprised by my score on this, because I've played it before and only got 92%:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKV3Ezd1Z0eGRHclU/view?usp=sharing

Maybe I did better tonight because I expected to play Weak and not Weep as I originally thought...

Quite like this:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKaHc4SDB1TFlNWlE/view?usp=sharing

Endicott is going to have to wait until tomorrow.  I'm too tired. :D

On bass, Even Flow had a guitar tone, which was ridiculous, so I changed that. I also thought the song volume was quite quiet, so I increased the volume a bunch. And I increased the scroll speed (on all paths) because I dislike slow scroll speeds. Didn't change some of the other things I would have liked to (a lot of As in the song would be easier as open As rather than playing on the low D string.

Didn't play with tone volumes on guitars yet, so those might be too low now.

Anyway, here's my score.

Great selection this week.  I'd better get busy - there's a lot that I want to play. :D

I thought there would be a lot of work to do on this this week:

Some odd patterns to it, but not too difficult to pick up:

How are you finding the note recognition on the U-bass?  I find there to be a lot of false misses on the E string, lowering scores by 2 or 3 percent on a song.  In my case, I won't attribute the misses to the short scale because I am used to a travel bass, and the misses seem to be mostly on a single string.

@ - I definitely agree about the tone volumes on Even Flow - particularly the filter one. I'll definitely be playing around with those soon.

Oh, and I did this last night but forgot to post it.

Still kind of a spaz for some parts, but much better than my sightread. Picking in swing feel is kind of tricky for me.

Okay albatross, how are you getting those 8-10 slides on the chorus to register?

I can 100% the rest of the song otherwise

Many nice scores on all songs :)

No real problem, I don't think.  I hadn't even re-tuned or re-calibrated.  Of course, I will try this if I want to get a decent score with one of them. :)

Pigs have flown, hell has frozen over, various other unlikely events have surely taken place because I finished top on a MC Lead song for the first time ever !!! Genuinely pleased with that :) Joining the championship has been one of the best decisions I've made !

Anywho, started the new week today with a run through of all the bass parts

I haven't heard this song since the time it was released - was it really 20 years ago ??? I feel old.

Cool little jazz number, pity it's so short.

Yep, I picked a song with a slide to the 20th fret when I only have 19 ! If anyone's doing some tweaking maybe they'd consider making those slides unpitched ?

Beginner lead is on the easy side this week, but I'm tearing my hair out at the note recognition on a couple of the slides.  I can do it every time in riff repeater, but they don't seem to get recognised on score attack.

For now anyway -

Beginner Lead - 99.03%

And that's the excuse I'm using....totally not anything else...

Eh, you could be good :P thanks for the fun times last week, hope you do it again this week

Many nice scores on all songs :)
