I am currently using v2.5.0.0-cea46775 beta of the Rocksmith Custom Tool Kit and I used the Packer/Unpacker to Unpack an Official DLC file (Swing Life Away) with the Decode Audio and Extract song XML boxes checked. The resulting XMLs (found in the folder songs/arr) that are extracted lock up EOF whenever I try to import them. Can anyone explain to me why this is happening or what I need to do to get the charts from Official DLC to import properly.

The toolkit writes the XML files a little differently than official XMLs and ones that EOF writes, so I'm working on accounting for that in the Rocksmith import function.

 

We're trying to work out another problem (possibly with the toolkit's unpack function) though, could you post a download of the original XMLs (from EOF) and the unpacked XMLs (from the toolkit) for that chart here so I can compare them?

There is no xml to compare though I'm unpacking the XML file from the official dlc and using the import feature in eof and eof will lock up while trying to import it. So there is only one xml file (from the unpacked dlc).

With my most recent revision of EOF, I was able to import all 3 arrangements as far as Rocksmith 1 supported techniques go. It will be working in the next hotfix.

RS2 XML import is not supported by EoF until this time, please wait.
