Game is running at almost no frames it seems

I just played rocksmith 2014 yesterday with no issues. Jumped on here downloaded some CDLC and now the game is unplayable. The FPS must be >1 It starts as soon as you get "Rocksmith 2014" with the Enter Button on screen.

I removed all the CDLC I downloaded and restarted the games multiple times and it still happens.

Anyone else having this issue recently or know of a way to fix it?

first, make certain you are not running outlook or other resource intensive programs in background

second, thin out your songs folder

third, wait until all songs load before trying to play a song.

fourth, if the above does not work, look for duplicates or old versions of same song in your dlc folder

you might also try pressing ctrl+alt+del and watch your resource monitor to see if your computer is being pushed to the point of a crash.

this is not an exhaustive list as cpu, memory, os, video card, driver updates and many other things can cause problems.
