No possibility for me to play yesterday and today, but Monday I used to practice on rr confortably at 80% of the speed. I increase the speed slowly, and I will do my first try on Score Attack when I'll reach 90%. I have the feeling of a good progression and feel more confident about this song.

  • Well, I'd never have believed it was possible at the beginning of the week, but I've just scraped into the 90's   It has taken 36 plays, and that's excluding all the time I've spent in Riff repeater,

Sorted out my bending problems on Clutch :)

And just for fun a sight read on Iron Maiden rhythm and bass. Might come back to these later in the week if there's time.

Talking of pumped, my left arm feels like it's about to fall off  :)   Thanks @ and all for the encouragement or I'd probably have given up at the start.

I grinded out a couple of the solo sections in RR after this and only scored worse. :( I hit them fairly accurately when they're isolated, but when they're all rapid fire after six minutes of riffing I drop dozens of notes at a time.

I broke 90% on Blackened, but missed the screenshot because I got distracted soloing. Oops! :joy:

Come join us in the Rocksmith Championship!

Out of curiosity was there a reason my rhythm score for Blackened (from the video I uploaded) wasn't put on the leaderboard?

We forget about that  Thanks for pointing that out :)

Okay I'm sold on DYstopia, even if just Dystopia, the threat is real, and fatal illusion are the only good songs, its still going to be a great album.

What do you think about that DT album also @Nacho?

Many nice scores on all songs :)

@@Vodka In fact 2 weeks without a song in a class should not happen, but we really lack songs in beginner class.

Song Selection Class commands you to post your selections (difficulty ratings are really useful, so put them there even when you're not sure).

I don't want to be smashed by fellow Organizer, but damn! Mustaine sounds so awful that I rather listen to some Sylosis growl's. But at least it's not pop-fest Super Collider.

Dystopia for me was a good song! it has a lot of 80's vibe, but more melodic, and Kiko nailed it with those solos! Can't wait for the whole album :D

And Dream Theater is one of my favorite bands, with that concept album, more than 2 hours of music, like 30 tracks, and the single (Gift Of Music) that was amazing with a lot of Rush vibe in the riffs, well...that says everything! Hope it rocks!

He is trying to do his best, but his voice is running out of juice quickly since that operation, back in 2011

I know only one band with godlike sounds tone guitars and great bass line and cool melodic solo, this is Megadeth. Yes vocal not perfect now, but summary sounds very very good. I like it more then other thrash bands.

I like when we disagree in thrash principles. And, cough, Blackened is, cough, great example of that (especially cool melodic solo :D ) :P

I'm sorry, can someone tell me when Dave was known for his amazing sounding vocals?

Never?

Then why are we still complaining about them now?

Many nice scores on all songs :)

Anyway personally  i like early Dave`s vocal very much , it sounded very rock in mix with their tones of guitars and tonality tunes, much more than James. And  yet Megadeth always was for me true thrash band without compromise, not  as Metallica at some time turned in to pop music. So i very waiting new album MD, and dont care about Met :)

I went back to fingers instead of plectrum as it's just how I feel most comfortable. I can only seem to play this if my bass is slung close towards my feet, which from some of the video's I've watched seems the preferred position. I can understand why too as it's most fatigue heavy on the old shoulder if you're sat upright with your bass in a relatively "normal" position adjacent to your hands as opposed to your shoes    Not going to try and improve this as I fear I may just injure myself.

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.
