Hey guys I'm new on here and I apologize if this question has already been addressed. I just received RockSmith 2014 for PS3 as a gift but did not get the realtone cable. I have a behringer guitar link ucg102 which is basically an interface where you can plug your guitar into it and then connect to computer via usb. I've tried using it on the game but at beginning of game it keeps saying my cable is unplugged. My usb connect is good, the behringer link is brand new, and all my connects are good. I'm playing a standard strat. I guess my question is does anyone know if I can use the behringer guitar link instead of the realtone cable? Or has anyone successfully used an alternative cable on the PS3 rockSmith? I have found lots of postings for those using a PC but not for PS3. Lastly, if I just buy the realtone cable any suggestions of cheapest place to buy? Thanks for your help guys!

Also, just buy the pc version of Rocksmith 2014 with a cable form Amazon.

Custom songs and ps3s don't really get on.  It's possible, but a pain in the rear by all accounts.

Save yourself a lot of headaches, get the pc version.  You need a pc to download (and convert to in most cases) ps3 customs anyway...
