Rocksmith & RS2014 failing to start

I upgraded to Windows 10 and everything worked just fine.   Now when it tries to load Rocksmith, it would either get to the White splash screen or perhaps as far as the Profile screen and that would be it.  Also the resolution was wrong too.

 

I tried the suggestion of closing the Nivida Control panel software that checks for updated drivers and tried loading it and that worked.    I did have to go into the game settings and change it from Windowed to Exclusive Full screen to get the resolution normal again.
