Have used the back up tool thankfully!!!! My profile got corrupted and I had to create a new one...lost everything. How do you restore the backed up profile created with CFSM?

Unzip your backed up game save profile files using 7zip, WinRar, or Windows unzip extractor.  Then copy the files to the Rocksmith game save profile directory.  If you don't know where the directory is located you can do a search for "*_prfldb" files which will show the the correct directory path.  Be careful if you have an old copy of RS1 installed and make sure you are working in the correct RS2 game save profile directory.

Make a backup of the corrupt files first before you try to restore your backup.  You can also try CGT to repair your game save profile if you played a lot between when you made the backup and when the save became corrupted.  CGT will restore your save right where you left off playing.  Just follow my signature link if you want to give CGT Game Save Gigbox repair tool a try.

Looks like the devs should add a feature to CFSM to restore the save too.  It would make it easier.  I'll take care of that.
