Thanks for the list of symphonic metal.   Helped me find some good stuff I would have not have picked otherwise for the lack of knowing anything about the band and what they play.

Brocas Helm and Crimson Glory are missing.

@@Lilumina - Thanks for the reminder. Been a while since I updated this (and similar threads), and it's hard to motivate yourself to keep up to date on something like this when it's not clear that anyone cares.

 

Anyway, I still need to update a bunch of the numbers on this (this is easy to do for bands already on the list via the Artist search page), and likely add a few more bands, so let me know if there's anything else you think should be added!

Can we have a Gojira Category + add them to it :P

This list is not complete compare with  the amount of power metal songs which was relase recently.

Should add Eternity's End and Orden Ogan to the power metal section

Jag Panzer is another one you should add

So far, there is only one chart of it, produced by myself, but a lesser-known name throughout power metal is Timeless Miracle. They were on the recent Tribute to Sonata Arctica album as the very first song, their cover of "Full Moon".

 

I'm trying to work on their current discography all by myself. :(
