Another week and another wait for new challenges - come on, bring it on...  :)

 

 

Low tuning on the guitar always gives me trouble with recognition - I am quite happy with this result.

 

Fun with a song in my native language - even if the text itself is a bit on the silly side (translation here).

Bass this week - MY - SORE - HANDS!!! This is an interesting mix of work-out and music performance. I am not proud of the result, but I had to stop here.

 

BASS MC - 81%

 

 

 

Struck by low self confidence I had to go and test the Bass Adv. - just to see if I am even close to deserve to take on MC challenges. I think I will try to continue stay in MC (for now)....

 

 

 

Adv Rhythm:

Adv Lead:

A couple of stupid mistakes (bend after the first chorus, fat-fingered and muted the open B in the final arpeggio), but otherwise pretty much hit everything I should hit. Don't think I ever had quite as much success on the last riff in the chorus as I did in practice (where I had a few 1 miss runs at 100%), but that happens until you've practiced things a crapload. And if you take my more typical runs, that would probably be ~12 misses between the three times it shows up, which pretty much perfectly matches where I was at (the song has 665 notes on the lead path).

 

Also, noticed that most of the stuff related to chord techniques (sustain/noteway highlights, vibrato, bends) didn't import, both on my playthroughs and on @@firekorn's video. I remember on It's Catching Up it had the chord slides but I don't remember if it imported the sustains. Might have something to do with EoF/Toolkit versions, as It's Catching Up was produced much more recently.
