From time to time organizers gonna put songs in for extra challenge from about 6-12 months ago in the weeks that we to start. Songs that have been great, songs with a lot of competitors, songs a week just was not enuff...

the former competitors scores are there in the table - so if you wanna check your progress give it another try and kick your own score or just take the extra challenge to play an extra song competition-wise.

If you have an extra song you wanna play again - let organizers know, and in general be verbose about the idea!

Out of curiosity, what does the asterisk mean on the leaderboard?

 

I see a lot of nice scores well done all.

@@Viltaire it means that the person is not in that class, are they also grayed out they are in a higher class.

Really have to start focusing on my lead playing sometime.

Still no improvement but I do have a rather stiff video of my last score. I'm not sure I'll make 100% as I've been a bit poorly... the stern expression is me trying to not reveal my ill all over the monitor. Will try some more tomorrow, but in the mean time... ta-blurghh!

Still got a few days! And don't worry too hard about making 100%, you sound good and that's what matters. :D

Edit:  Managed to pass lead scoreattack without strikes two more times but with lower accuracy.  I guess I'm good at mashing my way clear on a solo.

Yesterday I re-stringed my guitar and got that score:

Advanced Rhythm - 97.65%, 168 streak

More guitar stuff from me coming tomorrow when I'll get some time to play.

Small improvements on all paths of Thin Line to show tonight. Really liking this song, so much so I bought the first Graveyard album. Given it a few listens so far and it really is very good ! Thanks for once again introducing me to cool new music :)

I played Juular once just for giggles. There is no screenshot - the only evidence that it happened is this recording I did for some reason, where I sightread it apparently 40 weeks after scoring 95% on it and only manage... well, not that much. Sound sucks, too. :P I don't know why anyone would watch it! But if you really like hand contortion, here you go:

I actually had a better run going right after this, but my chord recognition went to shit so it ended up just below this one. Later checked my tuning and saw my D string was 10 or 15 cents higher than all the rest for some reason  :angry:

As a reminder, if other people want a version with more sections for practicing the lead (or some other parts of the song), I made a slightly modified version (download link). Some of the muted notes in the verse imported with a somewhat weird spacing, but they don't really affect anything.
