October 16, 201510 yr Author So at the 10th fret I use my fret hand and pull both strings? What's the use of this?
October 16, 201510 yr Administrator Same use as single note pull-of, mostly the fact that you don't want to pluck the string again and to have a more mellow sound because you don't have the power of the attack with a pick. October 16, 201510 yr Author Thanks for the explanation, first time I came across a song that used pull-off chords of this kind, guess it is a technique often used in Drop-D-songs
October 16, 201510 yr Administrator Not really. Drop tuning make HO/PO on power chord easy while it's hard to do in standard tuning (even if it's doable). But you can often find HO/PO on chord in many 80's rock song like this one : Firekorn's workshop In Flames Discography #FirekornHasDoneNothingForTheCommunity
