So i have tons of cdlc thanks to this site...but i have one problem.

Coldplay - the scientist doesn't work. After tuning the strings show and everything and i can see the DM7 chord waiting to be played but the problem is the track isn't playing and it's not moving.

It's not a problem of (D3DX9_42.dll) file as i have it and other cdlcs work just fine.

And the weird thing is that it works fine with guitarcade. Is there a way i can fix this cdlc?

Thank you.

This should be fixed by the charter. Leave a comment at the record page and ask for fixing, thats all you can do.

I remember that problem from long ago - guitarcade working but LAS not working.  And that sounds like an old custom.

I cannot remember the exact solution, but you could try to "Import" the Scientist .psarc into the newest toolkit and generate it again.  It'll take seconds and may well work.

Those old customs got made when the toolkit was unstable, it may just be a dodgy build.

Thank you so much. What toolkit? How?  I am as green as it gets. Is there a link explaining how i can regenerate it.

Use the big green "Windows" button (assuming you are on pc and not Mac) to download and get it going.

Hit the "Import" button and tell it where to dump the temp files.

Then increment the Version number by 1 (e.g. if it says Version 1, make it a 2)

Hit "Generate" and tell it where to dump the new .psarc

Put new .psarc in DLC folder and remove the old one.

Hopefully all should work out well...  hopefully :D
