So been working on my first cdlc, Manic Street Preachers-Yes.

Got the tab sorted(for guitar at least) nearly there with the lyrics,

but have no idea about what tone to use????

Any recommendations?

There's already quite some Yes custom on there so you might be able to find one tone out of them that works well enough with the your song.

If you want to just create your own unique tone, take a look at some Rig rundown like this one http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/Rig_Rundown_Yes_Steve_Howe_and_Chris_Squireto get some (really good) starting point.

Thanks for your reply, but "Yes" is the title of the track (by the Manic Street Preachers)

Good advice though, I'll have a look for similar videos for the artist mentioned

oh sorry about that.

But yeah looking for what rig the player are using can be quite a good way start out to create a toen, or simply pick one that seems similar to you in style (if possible official as you have more guarantee on the quality). I know i've creat a tone basing myself on Alice Cooper tone available in RS and it worked out pretty well.
