The songs for this week are:

Lead Path:
Beginner:  Men At Work - Who Can It Be Now? (chosen by @@missis sumner )
Intermediate: Jethro Tull - Teacher (chosen by @@Angelina27 )
Advanced: Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart (chosen by @@MonstaS4 )
Masterclass: Sylosis - Where The Sky Ends (chosen by @@Mortalo )

Rhythm Path:

Beginner: Men At Work - Who Can It Be Now?
Intermediate: Jethro Tull - Teacher
Advanced: Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart
Masterclass: Sylosis - Where The Sky Ends

Bass Path:

Because the most difficult bass this week is Motley Crue, which is hardly an Advanced Bass song, so I decided to add something we played in the past, and 'cause we played War Pigs onguitars last week...
Beginner:  Sylosis - Where The Sky Ends

Beginner 2:  Men At Work - Who Can It Be Now?
Intermediate: Jethro Tull - Teacher
Advanced: Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart
Masterclass: Black Sabbath - War Pigs
(dreadfoxx's version)

Beginner:  Men At Work - Who Can It Be Now?

Once again @@missis sumner delivers fun song.
Intermediate: Stone Temple Pilots - Vasoline

I didn't played it before, but it is nice to play. And that chord :o
Masterclass: Sylosis - Where The Sky Ends

I wanted short MC rhythm song. 1st time we have Sylosis here, and it's not the last :) (this face is kinda creepy) This time you won't hear the terrible vocals or witness godly sweeps, but it's still quite fun. Maybe it's not Metallica, or other Big 4 band. But that's some good british metal ^_^

For me, chart cdlc Motley Crue seems very bad, a lot some unplayable and  wrong places, plus need to use vibrato machine.

A few proofs of unplayable places:

There are 2 versions of Kickstart My Heart actually, i don't remember clearly which one is better

She did choose the song, so I'd guess it's a song she knows quite well and has played a lot (probably out of game) rather than that she's mastered the song in two hours. Either way, it's pretty impressive.

@, pretty sure you are using the old version of @@Crossbolt242's tab. This was updated in august last year. The version i have (@@Crossbolt242's) does not have any of the above issues you've shown here.

And yes, a whammy bar would make the intro sound correct, but it's not essential - it won't stop you from getting 100%

Well this is awkward.......seems i have linked to the wrong version of the song in the SSL. I could have sworn i had @@Crossbolt242's version . @@Bandin's version is the more correct one.

Apologies to @ for the confusion. @@Mortalo, can you please change the link?

Leave it to a FreeBird to behave like a seagull - swoop in, make unpleasant noise, drop unwanted deposits and then soar into the distance. ;)

Both beginner bass songs this week are just too easy to the point of being boring.  I did one pass through of each, without RR and both scores were 99% plus.  I'd never even heard the song Where The Sky Ends before and still scored 100%.  For Who Can It Be Now, I had to settle for 99.2%.

Teacher was more challenging and probably my choice for practice this week.  After an hour in RR i"m at 95%.  The middle bit around the flute solo will take some work.

Kickstart My Heart seems easy to score well on bass, but tougher to play well.  Not having heard the song before, I scored 98%.  If I liked the genre, I could learn the song and improve my playing, but I'd have more fun sticking to Teacher.

I'll stop crapping all over the place and fly away now :P

I confess, I've had plenty of practice on this tune..."Teacher", was a song on my bands' setlist.
