@@albatross213 I mean it's not too huge a problem for me...but drunken me thought I would destroy my precious bass(with heavy gauge strings) so I didn't.

Just beginner and advanced attempts for the now, I can't be arsed tuning to the custom tuning of Babymetal yet as I've only got one functioning bass atm as I'd accidentally left the active pickups switched on over the days I've not played :(. Hoping to scrape together some more time this week, last week was a bust with work getting in the way of EVERYTHING!

 

Going to the zoo tomoggers though for some fun with the kids... possibly rehome them while I'm there... just temporarily of course while I play a bit of Tull :)

first run through grounds for divorce, after spending time on riff repeat. can't seem to get the bends right, especially the B!

 

any suggestions or just more practice????

@@franfit listen to the track a few times and try practicing the bend without music until it sounds as close to the bends in the song. I find sight reading bends are too inaccurate when gauging the strength of the bend in the chart and it's better to train the ear and memorise the odd section here and there where I struggle. Hope that helps a bit :)
