Hi, When looking in the files I find that there is pitched vocals on Rocksmith 2012 dlc and in the main game.

 

Was there any plans for singing in the game?

Maybe, but they never went anywhere with it. The vocals are pretty much there to display lyrics, unlike the two real guitar games that made up most of Rocksmith's competition: Rock Band 3 and Bandfuse, both of which had proper scored vocals.

You can sing in the game,, but it's pretty useless. And BTW pitched vocals are about useless as well,, I mean have you EVER sang karaoke. It may sound good but it's not exactly the same. Pitch less vocal for customs work fine for me.
