btw, do you guys usually edit your original post on score improvement or just post a new one? Would like to try to best my previous score ... ;-)

Post a new one. Otherwise it's quite possible that @@Mortalo will miss it when updating scores. Though I guess if you check the leaderboard and it's not updated with your previous score it's probably OK to edit that post.

Edit: And I need to remember to refresh this page before posting sometimes. Oops. Only got to it 15 minutes later than Mortalo.

I'm probably not going to do any better than this tonight:

(I'm cheating - using a pick!  )

I still haven't got a Championship 100% on Moonlight Shadow either… D'oh…

Decent my ass... I'm really annoyed by the unending positivism of the Rocksmith narrator - or is that asshat sarcastic?!

Gear: Ibanez GAX30 BKN / Cort Action Bass / crappy Behringer Stratoclone

Still no luck getting past the stupid downlevel thing. But i improved my invalid score quite a bit.

And i agree with @@axary. The stupid narrator is a bit optimistic.

I tried remove DD, and in SC cdlc have very low speed, all notes in one hip. Tried to add DD  with length of phrases 4 or 8, and then not work RR -crash RS. So we forced good to play  small sections  in SC   :)

Updated rhythm:

So here's my best for Moonlight Shadow.  Countless runs missing only 1 or 2 notes (in random places) preceded this, along with much pain and agony, but I just couldn't let it go....

Finally hitting 100% was really satisfying, even though I know I'm still sloppy at times.  The sync seemed perfect to me, but I felt the sustains were overly long or unneeded in places.  I know it's sort of personal preference whether chart to sustain as the full note length or what is actually heard in the audio, but there are a few places where I found the overly long sustains made it hard to read.  I also found the bass tone really loud and distracting, but that's probably just me and/or my setup.  Just nit picking a bit, don't mind me.

Overall (ignoring my consistency issues), I found this track much easier than Twist My Arm from last week.  Probably a 4 on difficulty?  Not sure I've got enough experience to accurately rate song difficulty yet though.

I also gave Arcarsenal a shot... Is this track really played without a pick originally?  I guess I'm lucky the game is so forgiving with the timing on fast rhythms.  It definitely didn't feel like I hit over 90% of the notes in this song.

On a related note, can anyone recommend a pick that won't shred nylon wrapped strings?  Do I even need to worry about it, or will the nylon stand up to basically any amount of picking punishment?  I've actually never used a pick before, but this bass part is quite fun to play (even if I don't usually listen to this kind of music).  And it's probably a skill I should learn at some point anyway.

Deceptively tough song this:

Still some improvements to be made, the 100% isn't out of the question, but for now it's time to concentrate on the lead for a while.

Edit: First run through the lead. Wow, lot of work to do. Really need to brush up on my scales !

Should be doable since there's no crazy fast picking or advanced techniques involved, but it's gonna take some time.

I'm getting random misses here, or is it my playing

I'm getting random misses here, or is it my playing

Hard for me to tell for sure because by halfway the muscles in my fretting forearm were seizing up, but I think it seemed OK for the most part. There might be an issue because of the 3/5 slide: since it's not a linknext Rocksmith might not register the 5 if you slide and don't pluck at the end (which I think I got misses for a few times).

that needs more pratice

ok, much better, but my pinky gets caped from bending (and the high temperatures), so I have to slow down and give him a rest from such things, but update

http://up.picr.de/22464290so.jpg

difficulty rating for this path is 8-9, because those permanent arpeggios and the solos are tricky

if we rate the CDLC quality 1-10 points:

tab: 8 (if the bendings and outro lenght are fixed 9)

sync: fine (10)

tones: 7 (tones and volumes are good, but for the second solo a distorted lead tone is missing, if there is a good one then 9)

thats a quality of 8,7 - good custom

all ratings are only for the lead path

and the other paths:

http://up.picr.de/22465449sw.jpg

very good for chord and strum practice

difficulty 5-6

Quality:  tab, sync and tones all 9

bass

http://up.picr.de/22465468ye.jpg

difficulty 2

quality: tab 9 (only thing are the sustains, often too long), sync and tones 9,5

all ratings are

diff: L 8,5  R 5,5  B 2

Qual: L 8,7  R 9  B 9,3

RSBass said update is coming, incl. the change to 22 fret, outro shortened and some other small fixes :)
