Am I the only one not having a notification when a new version of a song if updated in the db ?

Check your notification settings in the forums.

 

Also, are you using the plus icon in ignition to download? Because that will add a follow to the track. Otherwise if you just download then you will not receive notifications.

I didn't find the setting I wen there but didn't find the right one.

 

Otherwise what do i do is I open the record, download it and then follow manually the topic. In ignition each record i follow has a green tick and no more plus sign.

 

It was wroking previously, i didn't change anything in my settings but now it does no more...

Following manually works just fine as well.

 

You just need to turn on the notifications in your forum settings:

Click: Your_Username @ top of page > "My Settings" in the drop down > "Notification Options" in the left sidebar menu >

Then I believe the setting you want is "Notification method to use for replies to followed topics",

but you can find all the different settings there.

I let our dev staff know, but since this feature is working for others, the problem is likely on your end.

Like I said I've let our dev staff know and they may have some idea of whats wrong.

No I still got no notification... I go everyday on ignition and check if a checked line is updated but still no notification. But at the time i got too few new version of CDLC, the activity is low at the moment ;)

I keep trying different options in notification settings but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get notified of updates but not comments.

I've noticed this too, but I think I've noticed something beyond it - I don't think I get notifications if the author of the CDLC posts in the thread either. If anyone wants to test this just to confirm, let me know and I can try it out.

I saw Shiroo's Post on one of his songs(HEADBANGERRRR!!!!) Today

Come to think of it, I haven't gotten any notifications for quite a while.  It worked fine until some time ago.  I didn't notice because I've been using Customs Push to inform me of new CDLC as well as updates.

This project, named Customs Push, is a web app which allows you to be notified via the push service Pushbullet when a CDLC for an artist you are interested in has been released or updated on CustomsForge. 

 

To use the service, head on over to http://customspush.com and authenticate either using your Steam or Google account. Once you've logged in, you can add artists and select criteria such as platform or instruments in the Config -> Filter section. You'll then need to activate your Pushbullet account in the Config -> Pushbullet section.

I too have been having the same issue , thought it was just me, been all over the settings to no avail, get loads of reply notifications but nowt else .

I was wondering why no one seemed to be updating their customs and everything went quiet. If I notice anything helpful I will post what I notice.

 

Another thing I noticed is that very early on when ignition was released there was a little red number on the top right-hand corner that would indicate when a custom was updated and a number reflected the amount of customers that were updated in one's collection but ever since the very first week that number has remained zero for me.
