Hi, I was just wondering which version is better to play? I have the ps3 version right now but it looks like the majority of the cdlc songs are pc only?

I was on Xbox360 and switched over to PC about 6 months ago and I'm so glad I did.  More songs, easier to use the menus when you don't have to deal with a controller, just having a keyboard and mouse sitting in front of you instead of having to reach over and pick up a controller after every song is a time saver.  Even though I have a bunch of official DLC on my xbox I've only signed in twice to play it because it's just not worth the hassle to me.

One thing to consider is your speaker set up on your pc.  I play my bass through my amp and the pc only plays the rest of the track so that may be something to consider if you don't have a good set of speakers.

You can use the toolkit to convert the songs to PS3 versions (as well as Xbox and Mac).

However, you would need to mod your PS3 in order to use them.

I have RS2014 for Mac and I also prefer it over the PS3 version, which is where I started playing. As @@madzillagd said, being able to use the keyboard rather than having to pick up a controller between songs is more convenient. The resolution is also better and I find the game in general runs a little more smoothly.

If you're thinking about getting it for PC, Steam usually puts it on sale every few months. Their summer sale should be starting soon and RS2014 (and RS1) will likely be included in the sale.
