@ Yup, that part. In previous version I was not getting a single miss on hopos (other notes were giving me trouble). At speed 35% is ok, but at 65% I can go with miss on each hopo. Frustrating. Especially since I'm sure that I'm hitting this notes,

Updated cdlc Megadeth v2.5 -->>

Adjusted beatmap in subject area, and slightly in other places. I think half of troubles with detection there, is no clear rhythm, guitar played there not exactly in beat (and yet bass drum  shifted of main beat), and hard catching right timing. But it possible to pass without miss.

|Yet i added in bonus tracks lead and rhythm metronome, try to use it.

Here's my scheduled mid-week uptick - Dead End Friends on bass 89%.  The score is only a few percent higher, but the playing seems less worse.

Imagine my surprise when I reach the end of the tapping section with an x99. Imagine my fury when Rocksmith decides to exclaim "Fuck you!" during the last chorus and gives me a miss. Imagine my feeling of resignation when I realize that it was not one, but two misses, without which I would have gotten the lead on streak. Imagine me going to sleep and trying again tomorrow, provided that my hands haven't been mangled by all my playing today.

Felt a bit better so tackled it some more. Getting a lot of confidence at full speed now, just need to riff repeat the solo, the weird outro and the minor differences of the rhythm track. Hoping for 95% by Saturday. Also lol @ only 0.1% difference in score! Don't mind the funky bars, the CDLC flickers on my second computer for some reason o_O

today i picked up my old bass and started having fun on this week's tracks. could i compete at the same time in guitar mc and bass advanced? mc bass would be too much for me.. anyway, gonna post scores soon

Muscle memory is starting to kick in. 90% may be achievable by the end of the week.

 

Really enjoying the challenge this week. It's tough, but not so hard that you give up in frustration.

Ok, it's not better. But this misses happens only on 1st of that section. On 2nd it does not happen.

I RR'ed the following section to no misses at 100% speed :D And then tried that D-G part, but didn't tried much after 90% speed.

Ok, so I went to SA and:

94.58%, 149 streak

I was making many misses on that power chord part (I realized that I was not strumming it well). So I made another try:

97.01%, 203 streak

Ta Dam! I did better on solo this time, but got worse score :P Still pretty happy about that. I don't know if I'll have more time to practice it. So I hope it'll be enough :P

Unfortunately, I only really have through tomorrow morning, but yeah, there's still time. I just can't help but feel that that was the take. While I had (I think) 3 misses after the first chorus, there's not going to be too many times that I end up with only 3 misses across the three harder sections, so it feels like I squandered what was a great opportunity.

 

But yeah, muscle memory/practice is definitely starting to kick in. I'm starting to feel almost in control on the first fast part (before the verse riff first appears), which I can't say I'd have expected going into this week. I'd have expected to get better at it, but at full speed to still have to resort to the "flop my fingers randomly against the fretboard really fast and hope things work out" strategy. Still having trouble with the one after the first chorus for some reason, though. Might have to consider how I fret things going into and out of that more carefully, as I can hit 100% on that in isolation nearly every time, but things seem to go to shit in the context of the song.

 

And the tapping..., well, I still find it hard enough to keep track of the positions and timing of both of my hands for more complicated passages, but I think I'm slowly getting better at it. Probably going to do more CDLC 2 Tab in the future for harder tapping sections so I can really slow things down and get everything straight in my head, which I feel is much easier with a tab than in Rocksmith.

I swear I AM practicing but this week is hard as nails and I'm stuck for time and work again! Liking all the tracks but these song choices are unforgiving to my dexterity and speed... though I have made improvements, played a few tracks that I bought before Christmas that I didn't even get passed the intro's and lo-and-behold! finding them pretty easy now :D Yay! I'll try submit some scores tomorrow or Saturday. Them Crooked Vultures is great fun :)

@@Mortalo At video i have one miss HO in this section, but нere it is seen that it was late. other hopos work ok. Only my bads.

So i finished with this one.  I think can not something much improve with soon, not enough skill for good sounds. Need much more practice.
