I really wish this game had a streak counter like rockband and guitar hero did, where it broke if you hit an extra note thats not there or anything. I feel like i need something to tell me when im strumming too fast.

 

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

@@crash087, you'd like to play Score Attack It has hit's indicator and it counts on hovv you played the song. 

so you lose it if you hit a note thats not actually there? perfect!

damn, so close. it just shows you how many you havent missed, it doesnt restart the counter if you play an extra note, sadly :(

It wouldn't be as n00b friendly if they done it that way. When I started out I had no idea about the concept of muting, as a result my playing sounded horrible and if that was the model they used I never would've had larger than a 1 note streak. Maybe a new game will give us the option? I'm hoping for a 2016/7 at E3 :)
