Saved Data Damaged?

The last few times I have logged into the game it says my saved data has been damaged and I have to start all over (all progress lost, have to go through the initial calibration and tuning). Has anyone else run into this issue?

    Thanks. All of my progress is lost but at least I don't have to go through all of the nonsense at the beginning of the game.

    One other question if anyone is looking....I have played this at a friend's house, he should still have some form of my saved data, no? By my logic I should be able to get the data from his machine and copy it to mine, does this sound correct?
