Yeah i have v4 on Cities in Flame, its a shame because the bass part is so good in that song. So are we changing the song? 

Cities on flame is tons of fun to play minus the sync issues. Pulling teeth... yeesh, been awhile since I haven't been able to get through a song in score attack

Not easy but I like the groove so maybe it's something I can get on with. I am still stuck for time, still packing up the house and I start a new job on Friday (Yay!) and moving May 1st/2nd once I'm settled in there and got on track with shifts at work then I can invest more time so my scores are probably going to be low and infrequent... but yay, more money and I'll be able to save up for a new guitar :)

Was a bit lazy and didn't apply a particularly good finger technique, just slid my hand about to the general vicinity of the fretboard and plopped strings. Will dedicate myself more seriously tonight once the kids are in bed and not "Mum! Mum!"-ing every 5 seconds :)

really fun to play, but for practice would be better with a bit more and shorter sections, they're very long (only 6 sections the whole song)

and the guitar tone is very loud (I decreased in Mixer to ~30, then it's ok)

Did a little RR'ing on Hollow. Looking good, this song's really good charted, no problems with random misses,

but the song itself is meh. Hope @ won't beat my score so i dont have to play it again ;P

Really don't like the songs this week, hated the whole genre to do with specials and various sub genres. Pantera, although I don't mind that type and even like a few of that style, I was never a fan of them.

 

Can't see much if any improvement this week.

I feel I'm getting random misses but I might be wrong. Hate arpeggios though, I suck at them. Good practice this one :)

@@Shiroo I felt the same way on that song with Random misses, I wonder if there might be a timing issue with the custom. Didn't bother posting a score for it as its not in my class but I always loved the song so wanted to try it. Ended up getting a 90 or so % on it but I was sure that I was "Missing" Notes that I know I was hitting. Seeing frippchen's score on it though made me think that it was just my playing but seeing that you as well were getting random misses has me wondering.

I didn't felt that I was getting any random misses, though I did poorly on this one. Be careful, there are some few notes at the same time, like 3rd fret B and open e. This open e is hard to notice, and it's not always there.

Am, C, D9 (Dsus2),

always chords, just practice them and hit the right strings at the right time :P, that's the difficulty here.

Chords are easy. Strumming is hard :P Well, hitting the first string right is hard :P

I have no more nails to cut :o I'm doomed :(

Those chords are killer, but i could get a good score after a few runs

Oh I do like The Specials, a nice beginner, fair to middling difficulty 2-2.5 I'd say.

Advantermediate imo... o.O give me an all over the fretboard riff any day of the week, chugging on the lower end of the neck does not suit me what-so-ever, found it BRICK HARD! The floaty ballady bit was simp's at the start but as soon as that shenanigary began I soon lost my way. Dead hand.
