@@jbroch I dont know if it is my ears, but the bass line in Cities on Flame about halfway through the song where the first chord comes into play is WAYYYYY out of sync. It was hard to understand what was happening..There are also a couple of extra notes through the whole song as well. Hopefully it can be fixed :D

as it is my pick - target = 93%, or whatever it takes higher for the win at end of week

did some first runs, great songs this week, except the pantera one for me, havent gotten behind that one.

But i never really listened to pantera much.

 

So to start with some good ol' Blue Oyster Cult

Cities on Flame Bass, 95,515

have some work to do on here, the main riff is too sloppy.

 

 

And i couldn't help myself to play Anesthesia ;D

This ones awesome! This run was with my fingers, so not that good, tried it with a pick and

that was the result

Anesthesia 86,67%

Feels like MC Lead all over just on the bass, haha. Truly a MC song for bass, great pick!

@Mortalo  will there be a change in the intermediate song??? lead and rhythm path are the same. if no change, can we use gangsters for both lead and rhythm in beginner?  :unsure:

that wasn't a good run, can do better

 

Cities on Flame, 87%

Lots of parts are out of sync here too. Before and after the first solo and around the second solo.

Rhythm path suffers out of sync too.

Would be awesome if other guys could peer review that too

I felt uncomfortable with Cities on Flame too. It could be sync issues, but I'm crap on guitar :P

@@Mortalo I noticed some out of sync issues on that track as well (at least on the bass path), also beats were not synced with notes that's what bugged me the most :D

you could rarely be wrong  ;) , but keeping that thought in mind shouldn't gangster then be valid for both paths instead of having nothing for rhythm???

Maybe i'm playing the wrong version here but I haven't had a problem with this one being out of sync. I do have 2 versions in my folder though one is from 1972 and the other is from 1976 which is the one i'm playing

The bass path is out of synch. We need it fixed or a new song. Today is the day I get most of my practice on usually.

I didn't tried it yet, but it sounds like there are some issues to fix, and since jbroch is very busy this week we should choose another song and take Cities on Flame another week.

That's fine with me. I don't mind at all if the song is changed. 

I have no idea what the 1972 version of Cities on Flame is, but this is my version from 1976

And its had over 1000 downloads and no one has told me these is a Sync issue till now. The name of the file is :

Blue-Oyster-Cult_Cities-On-Flame_v4_DD_p.psarc 

Please make sure thats the one your playing and there is no other version in your DLC Folder. 

 

If you confirm that this is a problem still then by all means pull it. But it seems like the majority of the folks playing this version are not having the issue...

I even just watched and listened the lead path of Cities on Flame. Indeed there are any sync issues. There was one insignificant small but one big at the last solo and before. Many measures lose the beat there, and that should be fixed for sure.

2 days ago I reported any issues on a song with more than 5000 DLs, but nobody mentioned those until me, and now it's fixed.

Well I'm dome with Gangsters on Bass (100%)...

 

And there is no use working on Cities in Flame, pending an alternate song,

 

So it's time to play with Pantera :)
