I'm just curious, but do most people in the championship play back through system speakers, amps, or headsets/earbuds?

I use the earbuds myself because i don't have a good place to practice without bothering the rest of the household, but i really like the sound out of the speakers when i can.

Headphones here but I desperately need a new pair. They're sufficient but I'd prefer to rig up an amp but that's out of my price range... Birthday is in October, some decent cans would be acceptable... Hint, hint to my better half :)

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

ear buds through the computer. too old to figure out how to run it through an amp, to the tv and then to my brain, where my fingers never get the message

I hated Royal Republic prev. time. I hate it this time too.

UPD: OK. I hate every song. I guess I need to stop.

Similar to Rodman:

Guitar thru ABY splitter to PC & Fender Mustang amp

PC sound (guitar sound set to 0) through Logitech 2.1 speakers.

IMO, Rocksmith masks your guitar sound too much. Playing through an amp really highlights where you need to improve (everywhere in my case  )

Good speakers direct out of Soundcard. With headphones you are 'nearer' to the music.

I usually play through system speakers but I'm really considering to use @Rodman's trick with the ABY splitter!

It seems I have an unique setup: I have rocksmith guitar muted and playing along with Guitar Rig. Ampsims in Rocksmith sounds like sh*t for me (I blame bad drivers on win7 for my old audigy 2 zs), but my old soundcard kick ass as it can mix windows sounds with asio ones, on realtek setups GuitarRig blocks Rocksmith sound.
