On one of my CDLC that I made it won't recognize my bass notes. The problem is that I changed them to both "Real Bass" parts in Eof and it still won't play the notes. What should I do?

Could be a million things, need to narrow it down.

 

Screen shot of your EoF project would help, at the start of the bass track so we can see the tuning.

 

And I don't understand why you say "change them both".  What part is there other than a bass part?

To go into more detail, I made a "Part Real_Bass" and a "Part Real_Bass_22" to see if either one could be read in Rocksmith. They're both the same notes in the same path.

Think they are on the wrong string.  You have bass parts on a guitar setup (6 strings).

 

When in EoF press Ctrl + A (to highlight all notes) then Up Arrow twice, so the gems are sitting on the top 4 strings.

In fact his problem is more likely related to the fact that EADGBE is not 0 0 0 0 0 0 in EOF for a 6 strings bass track.

 

The question behind this is if you want a guitar or a bass track?

For a guitar track, the solution is to go to Track, Rocksmith and change the arrangement type and check the tuning again to make sure you have the one you want. OR to simply delete this and import it into a Part_Real_Guitar.

 

If you want a bass track, then changing the number of strings first and then make sure you have the correct tuning (you can also check in what arrangement type you are but it's likely to already be a bass one).

Well I messed with changing the strings it still wouldn't work. All in all the simple way I had to fix this was go back into guitar pro and convert it to a 4 string bass. It seems like a lot of guitar pro tabs have 6 string basses set. Thanks for the help.
