Distorted tone on CDLC tracks

Please assist as there is a lot of custom DLC songs that produces this problem.
It might be my settings as I experienced this with one of the Practise songs in Lesson Mode as well, but the menu sounds and other songs are fine. 
I use a Bass guitar with the cable that I got with the game.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

    I managed to fix it  :cool:

    I went into Tone Designer, then I loaded and Authentic tone from Anthrax - The Devil You know.Now all is working fine.

    ALESTORM!!!!!I had this same problem, had to recalibrate my bass and when it asks to mute the stings i just tapped them instead of holding them muted. fixed the issue 85%

    BTW I cant find this song for bass anywhere, I would love to know where you got it in addition to any more Alestorm bass tracks :D I know Teinashu added bass for 2 of his songs on SA (terrorsquid and back through time) but those are the only bass arrangements I know of
